Dc2Trill contests that he is the "Grooviest In The World"
It's been said before and I will say it again. Yachty for better or worse has had a phenomenal 2023, not only with his career but with the talent that he has signed to his new music label Concrete Boys. In addition to signing one of the dopestfemale rappers out at the moment, he has signed a long-standing collaborator Dc2trill to the label. Coming from PortArthur Texas, Dc has proven that he is capable of filling in anywhere. His music gives off a heavy Texas undertow allwhile being able to hold his own with the flow that has been popularized by Detroit rappers. Dc has recently released thevisuals to his track "Grooviest In The World" The song is led by a dominant Saxophone melody reminiscent of musicfrom the 70's. Dc takes his time on the song, almost like he wants you to understand that he means everything that he issaying. This is where the Texas influence comes into play in the song. About halfway through the song, the beat changes, and Dc embraces his Detroit rapping style, still not missing a beat of his declarations of being the Grooviest In the World.
Grooviest In The World comes from Dc's tape Family Matters which was released earlier this year. The project featuresverses from fellow label mate and first lady of Concrete Boys, Karrahbooo, Detroit superstar Babyface Ray, Coo Trayle, and the one and only Lil Yachty. Dc2Trill's recent releases come in the form of 2 singles "I Get Busy/6 Wolves". AlthoughDc has been on the scene for a while, he is relatively new to the scene. I am interested in seeing how this new venture forthe Texas rapper plays out. Watch the video for Grooviest In The World below and stream Family Matters HERE.
