Listen: Westcoast rapper Katori Walker releases song “Grand Theft Auto”

The West coast is a very dangerous place, don’t take my word for it, there are countless songs by West coast natives that say as much. Pasadena rapper Katori Walker has just released a new song that supports those claims. Entitled “Grand Theft Auto, named after the infamous Rockstar produced game of the same name. Katori reminisces about not only playing the super popular PlayStation 2 game but likens it to what a normal day in on this side of the coast was for him. He also plays off other popular gaming titles like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skateboard & “Nuke Town of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Katori Walker is coming off of releasing a slew of singles including “God Send” & “Watch Your Back”. These tracks just a few from Katori’s “dropping a single every week” tactic that has been paying off for the Pasadena rapper.
Grand Theft Auto is a west coast song through and through, from the video game reference to the menacing beat to Katori’s signature sound! If you’ve been waiting on new music from the artist then today is the day, all we can hope is that a full length project is not too far behind.
