Albums You Need In Your Rotation! (June Edition)

21's

1. Lost Souls - Vory

Coming off of a very successful feature run on Kanye West's Donda. The rising hip hop artist has released his debut album with features from some of hip hops brightest. The album features Kanye West, Nav, Blue and others. Very like some of his peers has this way of using his voice as another instrument which elevates his music even more. If you have the time give the tape a listen, you will not be disappointed.

2. More Black Superheroes - Westside Boogie

The Los Angeles native has releases his highly anticipated sophomore album More Black Superheroes. Just like fellow California native Kendrick Lamar , boogie's music is a self reflection of his life and the trials that he experiences as a black man. The tape is full of thought provoking lyrics as well as music that caters to the people who need something to move too.. If you feel like taking a trip through self realization and understanding this is the project for you.

3. The Inspection - Cochise

Admittedly I do not know much about Cochise, this is the first full length project that I've heard from the artist, but after giving his follow up to 2021's Benbow Crescent a listen I can say that I am a fan. Cochise has this pristine sound that really is singular to him but has roots from other artist like Future, Young Thug and Playboy Carti. The song ft versers from Chief Keef and Young Nudy. If you're looking for something new to add to your rotation give this a listen.

4. Big Money - Money Man

Money Man is back with his second project of the year and does not disappoint. Money Man is notorious for giving out financial advice and information regarding the Crypto Market and NFT's. This album finds Money Man doing what ge does best, talking about big money. The tape has verses from G Herbo, Nardo Wick, Benny The Butcher and more. If you need some motivation to go out there and chase a bag give this a listen.

5. Fan Club - Kent Jamz

Now this is probably my favorite entry for the simple fact that I had no idea who Kent Jamz was before this month. Another Los Angeles native Kent has been putting out music and collaborating with artist for years nows. Most notably with seemingly long time friend buddy. Fan Club seems to be the artist first full length offering and I must say it is a great introduction. The R&B album features versed from Buddy and ASAP Ferg. With acts like Blue Bucks Klan seemingly taking over the west coast music scene Kent Jamz offers a well needed break.
